___ok... this is kind of funny, but it's also kind of not funny. apparantly they got rid of the the microsoft office paperclip because it sucked, but now they are using it as part of an XP advertizing campaign. "Buy XP because... no paperclip." so there are 3 animated movies showing the paperclip (which i refuse to call "clippy") getting the news about being killed off. who else could be cast in this demanding role but Gilbert Godfried. i really can't believe that he's this hard up for a job after the overwhelming success of hollywood squares 2000. anyway, the movies are funny until they start promoting XP. then it is, as we say... no longer funny. but for a moment it is funny. more importantly is the fact that they seriously made 3 freaking movies starring gilbert godfried as the voice of the office assistant! i mean... why stop there. if you're going to do something this stupid, then can't we also get John Goodman as the voice of the dog? Jennene Garafalo as the cat. Ray Romano as Einstein, James Earl Jones as the glowing Office Logo, and Andy Dick as the bouncing ball.posted by Adam 9/26/2002 01:52:00 PM
